A true sense of belonging

You’ve come to the entrance of the labyrinth carrying a question — and with each step inward, you walk closer to yourself. Guided by Ron Bunzl, this ancient path becomes a living oracle. What you find at the center is a treasure deeply remembered — a gift to carry back into the world.
The Labyrinth of Life is a self-inquiry practice that weaves the ancient oracular tradition of the labyrinth together with depth psychology, Processwork, and the power of story — creating a human technology for navigating the questions that matter most. Playful, accessible, and infinitely adaptable, it meets people exactly where they are in the vertiginous reality of today.

What is the labyrinth?

It’s an Oracle. A place to ask your questions and receive answers. It’s an ancient sacred practice going back perhaps to times of, or before, the pyramids. It’s a portal for entering into connection – with self and the ever-present wisdom, guidance and support of the quantum field that is life, the infinite energy and dimension within and surrounding all things, people, times and places, the whole of creation, the divine.Does that sound like it’s too amazing? Actually it’s really simple, it’s a shift in perspective that opens the doors to greater presence, embodied perception, and the magic of everyday life and experience. This practice is a physical/somatic metaphor and reality — at the entrance – portal – you ask your question, then walk your path to the center – self – there you receive the gift – your answer – and then you are tasked/invited to return back out to share your gift with your people, your tribe, the world.

Who is it for?

Anyone and everyone who is curious, who feels called to grow, to learn, to feel their connection to life, and who has a longing to step into their creative freedom and the discovery and fulfillment of their life purpose.

What is the objective of the workshop/what do people get out of it?

You will encounter yourself in new, surprising and empowering ways. An embodied awareness of the interconnectedness of all life. A true sense of belonging. You will take with you tools that help you navigate the realities of daily existence with greater calm, clarity, courage, and grace. Each modality, practice, and ceremony brings its own kind of growth and transformation. Certain forms of healing, wholing, and integration unfold through silent contemplation, journaling, sharing, breath practices, somatic awareness, drumming, singing, dancing, storytelling, and performing. The Labyrinth of Life retreat is an integrated and consequential process that weaves these elements together into an alchemy of growth and inspiration, offering practical tools for the art of living.

A true sense of belonging

Elements of practise

Breath and movement practices form a central foundation of the experience. These include Vyayam, an Indian breath and movement meditation practice rooted in Kalipayat, as well as explorations of how the breath moves the body, serving as both motor and fuel. Breath is also brought into voice through toning, accompanied by gongs and bells, allowing underlying emotions to surface through deep listening, expression, and journaling. The dance of yin and yang, of opposites, and of “yes” and “no” becomes a lived experience within the body.

The Magic Mirror explores the power of language and storytelling, reflecting what is happening within the speaker. As experiences are articulated and shared, the listener becomes aware of what arises within themselves, expanding listening into a deeper, self-aware dimension. This practice reveals how our words shape our inner reality, identity, and relationships — echoing the essence of “Abrakadabra,” meaning “I create as I speak.” Storytelling becomes a journey inward through writing and expression, where spontaneous words are distilled into poems, lyrics, or spoken pieces, brought to life through voice, rhythm, and presence, and ultimately shared in performance.

Self-inquiry and inner work deepen this process through the basics of non-violent communication, supporting clarity between feelings, stories, observations, and underlying needs, and enabling authentic, actionable requests. Voice Dialogue allows different inner voices or aspects of the self to be expressed and heard, fostering understanding, integration, and cooperation rather than unconscious reactivity.

Vibrational inner journeys support integration through sound, using gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, rhythm instruments, and voice to facilitate healing and embodiment beyond words. The drum circle reconnects participants to the primal pulse of life, gathering in rhythm and sound to celebrate the shared human journey.

Throughout the retreat, sharing circles provide an essential space for integration, deepening insight, and building a sense of community and belonging.
